Joi Ailes Sampsell

A daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, student of life, teacher, counselor, a spiritual seeker, writer, artist and much more. Attended Columbus Collage of Art and Design for two years, and many other colleges including Ohio State University. She graduated with BA degree from Eckerd College. Her post graduate work was art therapy at Florida State University. She has great interest in energy healing.

Born a long time ago, her first commissioned art was at age 5, portrait of mother’s hair dresser.

She has been known to work in many mediums including, acrylics, watercolors, tissue paper, book making, color pencils, charcoals, house paint, finger paints and crayons.

Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries such as Florida Gulf Coast Art Center, The Saint Petersburg, Art Center, Eckerd College, and Columbus College of Art and Design.

Commissions include painting murals in the classrooms of Unity Church of Clearwater.

Currently lives in Floral City and proud to be a member of an inspirational and talented group of artist, “Studio Seven”.
